ESOF PREVIOUS@ EDITIONS

EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) is EuroScience’s open platform for the debate and communication of science and technology. It presents and profiles Europe’s leading research trends in the sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as their industrial applications. ESOF also fosters and promotes science communication. Science journalists and communicators are thus key members of the ESOF community and their involvement ensures that as many people as possible grasp how European science and technology enriches our lives and affects us all. ESOF is a place where researchers can relate and explain their research to a broad audience. ESOF places equal emphasis on technology. The transfer of scientific discoveries into usable and applicable technologies can only be fostered through collaboration between business and researchers and by policies that facilitate the process. By providing business, researchers and policy makers with a place to meet and discuss their interests and needs, ESOF aims to stimulate the growth of Europe’s knowledge-based economy.
